Lewandowski Bags Hat-trick, Arsenal Lost At Home On Matchday 2 of the Uefa Champions league

Yesterday we witnessed another spectacular night of football as the first round of matches in the Uefa Champions League matchday 2 was played.

The man of the moment Robert Lewandowski scored a hat-trick taking his goal tally for Bayern Munich to 10 goals in three matches, including five in a record nine-minute spell against VfL Wolfsburg last week. Dinamo Zagreb came into this game with a record of 45 consecutive matches unbeaten in all competition but as early as the 25^th minutes that record came to an end. With goals from Douglas Costa, Lewandowski and Gotze, Bayern would be hoping to continue with their fine run of form when they face Borussia Dortmund at the Alliianz Arena at the weekend.

Barca had to dig deep scoring two goals in two minutes as they secured a vital victory against Bayern Leverkusen. As for Chelsea it was another night of mystery football as they once again lost, making it their fifth loss of the season.
