Robin Van Persie Heads Netherlands From Qualifying For Euro 2016

Robin Van Persie heads Netherlands from qualifying for Euro 2016. Danny Blind's side fail to reach a major finals for the first time since 2002 after their third place finish at the 2014 World Cup.
Tuesday's 3-2 defeat at home to Czech Republic brought a fitting end to an awful few months for the national team. Robin van Persie's scored a well placed header into own goal to compound the embarrassment and shame the Dutch have brought upon themselves, and served as a microcosm for the entire campaign.

They failed to qualify for the Euros in a group consisting of Iceland, Czech Republic, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Latvia. Czech, Iceland and Turkey qualified for the tournament.

Stay tuned as we bring to you a comprehensive list of teams that have qualified and those that have not, but before then here's the sweet header RVP scored against Jerome Zoet the keeper of Netherland.
