The Super Eagles of Nigeria brought up a superlative display as they won emphatically in their game against the Indomitable lions of Cameroon. The match ended with Nigeria 3 and Cameroon 0.

The Eagles got their goals from Ambrose who scored in the first half via a superb free kick from Mikel Obi, Moses Simon added the second shortly after the sending off of Stephane Mbia sent off for a second bookable offence after a foul on Igbonu, while the third was added by a cool header by in form striker Odion Ighalo who scored his 5th goal in 6games for club and country.
