Absolute Hearts Weekly Music Review & Song Of The Week

Good day people, it another beautiful Monday and just like you know it, it is time for the Absolute Hearts Weekly Music Reviews and I am happy to be back.

First let me say Happy New Month to all our esteem readers as I wish you all a great musical month ahead and with that been said, let me begin the review which covers 19th to 31st of October.

1.      Wande Coal: Finally Wande Coal released his most anticipated and long overdue sophomore album titled WANTED and I must say it was worth more that the wait. Here are the songs we are reviewing from the album

Weekend: This song shows that Wande is just as good as any of these foreign artiste when it come to R&B as he makes this song in a more international standard. If you enjoyed Private Trips and Forever then you would definitely dig this track. 9/10.

Monster: Thumbs up for Legendary Beat on this track, their production was evil as Wande really released the monster in him on this one. Just like the name, this song is a Monster and the rating 9/10.

Superwoman: If you thought Ololufe was the bomb then you haven’t listened to Superwoman, to me this is my best song on the album. Without doubt the rating for this song is 10/10, the lyric, the production, the coordination, everything about it is top super.

Make You Mine ft 2face: This is another Legendary Beat produced track and it features musical legend 2face. What else can we expect when we have Wande Coal and 2face on a song? Brilliant and good music is the answer. The rating is 8/10.

We Ball: Every time I hear this song, I feel like I am listening to Tpain, Maleek Berry and Wande took this song to another level. 9/10 is the rating.

2.      DJ Spinall: The man with the cap, Dj Spinall also dropped his own album titled My Story and here are the songs we are reviewing from it.

Pepper Dem ft Yemi Alade: First off let me say big ups to E.Kelly on the production, he did a good job. Yemi Alade brought her A-game on this one and the way she used the Mr. Lecture melody was superb, it took me some time to figure it out. I give the song an 8/10.

Money ft 2Face X Wande Coal: Once again 2face and Wande Coal brought their individual talent and made another hit with this song and I must confess I really like these two working together. This song has a 9/10 rating with the production credit going to E.Kelly once again.

The Way ft Ice Prince X Makifizolo: Drey Beat got everything right on the production of this song and of course Ice Prince and Makifizolo did what they know how to do best. I must confess I really like the sound of this song and I rate it 9/10.

3.      Saeon ft Ycee - De Be: It looks like Saeon is back for good as she drops another hot jam and this time around she features Mr. Jagaban Ycee. This song has the potential to become an international hit as the production itself comprises international element. With the swag Ycee brought on this track I rate it a 9/10.

4.      Jaywon ft YQ- Gbawo: Really Young John is the wicked producer, he killed it on this song. To be honest this is the best Jaywon song I have heard in a very long long time and as always YQ never dulls on a monstrous beat like this. In all aspect I rate this song 10/10.

5.      Ycee ft Olamide - Jagaban: For Olamide to publicly say he would love to do the remix of this song, it only shows how dope the original version of this song is. Olamide took this song to another level as he also came out hard on it. I rate this song a 9/10.

6.      Timaya X Enida X Yung L- Original Badman: To be honest I never saw this coming, I saw Timaya switching up style like this and I must confess I loved it. As for Enida x Yung L there is no doubt on what they can do. Original Badman has a rating of 9/10 as this DM/GRIP MUSIC collaboration makes lot of sense.

7.      Reminisce - Poison: Looks like Baba Hafusa isn't chilling anytime soon as he serves us with another Tyson produced track called Poison. I am not trying to start anything but I know a sublime beef when I hear one and poison contains some, with that said I rate the song 9/10.

8.      Dark Poet ft Tha Suspect - 6 Feet: The last time I heard this guy was on the late Dagrin trick Make Do. Dark Poet is here with a nice hip hop joint and he feature Tha Suspect and together they made an 8/10 rating song.

9.      Vector – Emi: We can’t just get enough of V.E.C as he his back again with this song titled Emi. Very nice song with cool chorus, the rating would be 8/10.

10.      Sinzu: Sinzu is back again and this time he has two songs that we are reviewing.

Money In My Pocket: If there is one thing as good delivery that Sinzu is known for that would be swag and that was what he spoke about in this track. With a very good delivery and dope lyrics Sinzu talks about his money and the swag he pulls with it. You might not really enjoy this song if you aren't a fan but this song is not a bad song. 7/10.

Shingba ft EMX: This joint would cut across every music fan as Sinzu decides to bring his Samborobo style on this one. Very nice beat and good production I must say and I give this song an 8/10.

11.     Neacto C - Atide: I really love the chorus of this song. I mean I can’t believe Natoe C could sound do good singing in Yoruba. This Maleek Berry produced track is said to be on another new album Neacto C is working on. 8/10.

12.  Eldee - It Ain’t All Bad: God knows I have waited too long just to hear this dude spit some bars and I am glad he did. Though this isn’t a comeback song from Eldee as he stills maintain he won’t be making a comeback into the game, this song is just to show us that he still has it.7/10.

13.  Patoranking- Make Am: Really this song is already topping every charts, Patoranking really out did himself on this one. The story in this song was what really made this song a hit song and of course the rating is going to be 10/10.

14.  Mavins - Jantamanta: Honestly I felt very disappointed with this song, I mean Dorobucci was cool, Looku Looku wasn't bad either but this NO, and this doesn’t cut it for me. This song is below Don Jazzy and his crew. Good beat and for that I rate am 4/10.

15.  Sound Sultan ft Olamide - Monsura: After the success of his last single Everything is Everything, Sound Sultan teams up with Olamide and together they gave us this song called Monsura. 7/10.

16.  Dj Mewsic ft Vector x Seriki x Sossick - Owo Epo: Dj Mewsic teams up with Vector x Seriki x Sossick to serve us with this hot hip hop joint called Owo Epo. Every artiste on this song brought their A-game and yes the beat is totally dope and that has earned this song an 8/10.

17.  D’Banj International Display: I have said it to those that have choose to listen, DeeVee has done a great job when it comes to producing D’Banj and he just proved it again on this track. 7/10
