Last
week we spoke about the First Part of the Reality of La Ilaha Illallah
Muhammad-Ur-Rasul-Allah were we said “it is that you have to pledge a covenant
with Allah, the Creator of the Heaven and Earth, the Ruler of all that exist,
the Lord of Majesty and Highness. We also went further to look at the Four Point
your pledge has to based on, today we shall be talking about the remain two parts
of the Reality of La Ilaha Illallah Muhammad-Ur-Rasul-Allah (none has the right
to be worshipped expect Allah and Muhammad is the messager of Allah), may Allah increase your wisdom and
understanding as your read (AMEN).
SECOND
PART
B. it is essential to utter: La Ilaha Illallah
Muhammad-Ur-Rasul-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped expect Allah and
Muhammad is the messager of Allah) as it was a statement that came from the
Prophet to his uncle Abu Talib when he was about to die. He said “O uncle, if
you utter La Ilaha Illallah
Muhammad-Ur-Rasul-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped expect Allah
and Muhammad is the messager of Allah), then I shall be able to argue on your
behalf before Allah, on the day of Resurrection”.
C. it is also essential that your limbs and every
other part of your body testify to it, and it is very important as regards to
it meaning. This is so because once you have confessed to this then you shall
not commit sins such as robbing, killing, stealing, illegal sex intercourse,
eating of pig, drinking alcohol, telling lies amongst other things that Allah
has forbidden. If after you have confessed to La Ilaha Illallah
Muhammad-Ur-Rasul-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped expect Allah and
Muhammad is the messager of Allah) and you still commit those sin then your
limbs and every other part of your body will testify against you, they will
call you a lair on the word you pledge to Allah (May our body not testify
against us amen).
With
a true confession of La Ilaha Illallah Muhammad-Ur-Rasul-Allah (none has the
right to be worshiped expect Allah and Muhammad is the messanger of Allah) a
person enters the fold of the Islamic religion accordingly, it is essential for
him to believe in all the Messenger of Allah and not to differentiate between
them, as it is mentioned in the book where Allah said “Do then those who disbelieve think that they can take My slave Isa
(Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) as Auliya (lords, gods, protectors) beside Me?
Verily, We have prepared Hell as an entertainment for the disbelievers”
(Q18:102 -110)
The
confession of La Ilaha Illallah Muhammad-Ur-Rasul-Allah (none has the right to
be worshipped expect Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah) is very
necessary for anyone who wishes to embrace Islam, and after this confession the
person is also required to take a bath and then offer two Rak’at prayer, and
act upon the five principle of Islam which are as follows; To
testify La Ilaha Illallah Muhammad-Ur-Rasul-Allah (none has the right to be
worshiped expect Allah and Muhammad is the messager of Allah)
2.
To
perform As-Salat (five daily Prayer)
3.
To
pay Zakat (Arms giving)
4.
To
perform Hajj (Pilgrimage to Makkah)
5.
To
observe Saum (fasting) during the month of Ramadan
He/she
must also believe in the six articles of the Faith which are;
1.
Allah
2.
His
Angels
3.
His
Messengers
4.
His
revealed Books
5.
The
Day of Resurrection and
6.
Al-Qadar
(Divine Preordainment)
With this we
have come to the end of the Reality of La Ilaha Illallah
Muhammad-Ur-Rasul-Allah (none has the right to be worshiped expect Allah and
Muhammad is the messager of Allah), I hope we all have been able to learn
something. I pray that Almighty Allah shall make us steadfast in Islam as He
continues to guide and protect us (AMEN). See you next week and Barika Jumat!!!!!
