Things You Need to Attain Success: A case study of Arsene Wenger lifestyle.

There's this side of Mr Arsene Wenger people haven't seen, let's talk about the beautiful side about Arsene Wenger we do not know.

1.HE IS A FASHIONISTA
When it comes to fashion the Frenchman is usually synonymous with dealing with large coats on the touchline.
2. HE BELIEVES IN GOD
Wenger is a Roman Catholic, and he attributes his outlook and values to his religious upbringing.
3. HE IS AN ACADEMIC SCHOLAR
The nickname "Le Professeur" is used by fans and the British media to reflect Wenger's studious demeanour. He was one of the brightest pupils in his elementary school. He studied Politics and Economics in the faculty of Economics and Management Sciences, University of Strasbourg. He also has master's degree (maîtrise) in economics and he holds an additional degree in electrical engineering.
4. HE LOVES FOOTBALL
At the age of 6, Wenger and some of his friends would miss vespers (evening prayers) in order to play football.  Even though football was not in his parents plans for him, his father had a spare parts business which he was tipped to look after, but as he grew older he started increasing his tactical knowledge of the sport.
5. HE IS A BORN LEADER
When he broke into FC Duttlenheim team at age 16, the team did not have a coach to prepare the players tactically, rather a person who supervised training sessions. Wenger took it upon himself to manage the side on and off the pitch. So he started from been an unappointed captain to a coach.
6. HE WAS AN UTILITY PLAYER
While playing for RC Strasbourg in France,  Wenger played as a  midfielder and a defender. He was also a coach for the reserves of his team in his playing days at RC Strasbourg.
7. HE IS PRUDENT AND COOL HEADED
From the time Wenger started his coaching career at Nancy, 1984 season, he has always spent little or no money to recruit players, he prefers grooming instead. He is not known to be the talkative and he controls his emotions real well, something he said he learnt from his years in Japan. He has stated that living in Japan helped him control his emotions and define his behaviour whilst managing: "Everybody there is controlled. They laugh at you if you show emotion."
8. HE HAS A VERY GOOD FRIEND
Boro Primorac, surely knows Wenger very well, both have been friends for a very long time, a friendship which spans to over 20years. He currently works as right-hand man to Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger. He worked with the Frenchman at Grampus Eight in Japan before joining him at Highbury in March 1997, and both have been together ever since.
9. HE IS A WINNER
He wins trophies everywhere he has coached except from Nancy his first full time job as a Head coach as previously he had been assistant coach at AS Cannes in 1983.  In 1987 Wenger left Nancy and joined Monaco where he won the league in his debut season. Wenger also enjoyed a successful 18-month stint with Nagoya Grampus won the national cup competition, the Emperor's Cup, in his first season and he received the J.League Manager of the Year award in 1995. In Arsenal he has won all the cups available except the Champions league, UEFA cup (now Europa League) and the Football League cup.
10. HE HAS A FORESIGHT
As we all know Mr. Wenger as a coach who tinkers and builds his team around young players, he's a man who thinks of the future and I would call him a one of the best coach in the world, except that he hasn't won any European trophy, he was the one who brought George Weah into limelight, he also brought Victor Ikpeba into limelight both with Monaco, Patrick Viera, Alex Song, Fabregas and the list is unending. Mr Wenger always has his foresight, little wonders as he trust youth instead of purchasing experienced players, he says playing youth is as a means of creating an "identity" and also helps secure the future.
11. HE TAKES DIET SERIOUSLY
Wenger is known for stressing the importance of diet and nutrition in football. When arriving at Arsenal he said "It's silly to work hard the whole week and then spoil it by not preparing properly before the game, he further stated, as a coach you can influence the diet of your players, you can point out what is wrong." Dieticians were brought in at Arsenal to explain the benefits of a healthy lifestyle; this explains the prolonged career of his defenders.
12. HE IS A BUSINESS MAN
Mr Wenger as I've said earlier on is prudent, he has also got a business sense also, he is called Baba Ijebu by some Nigerians simply because he handles money very well, not spending extravagantly.  A survey in 2007 found he was the only Premier League manager to have made a profit on transfers, and between 2004 and 2009, Wenger made an average profit of £4.4 million per season on transfers, far more than any other club. A notable example of his shrewdness in the transfer market was the purchase of Anelka from Paris Saint-Germain in 1997, for only £500,000 and the player's subsequent sale to Real Madrid just two years later for £23.5 million. In 2013, however, Wenger reversed this trend by signing Mesut Özil from Real Madrid for a reported fee of £42.5 million which so far is a money well spent.
13. HE IS A MULTI-LINGUIST
He grew up speaking French and German, and has learnt English, Spanish, and Italian. He also knows some Japanese.

That all to know about the Man Arsene Wenger apart from being the coach of Arsenal.
The sides listed about Arsene Wenger should be inculcated in us, if we want to get to and remain at the pinnacle of success.
