Absolute Hearts Weekly Music Reviews + Song Of The Week

Good day people, it another beautiful Monday and just like you know it, it is time for the Absolute Hearts Weekly Music Review and I am happy to be back.
Here are the songs I shall be reviewing this week;
1.      Sossick ft CDQ- No Way: When you have Sossick on the beat and also on the hook then the result can only be one thing, dope. The ace producer featured CDQ on this one and I have to be honest this dude keeps getting better. This is a classic hip hop party track and nobody does it better than Sossick. I rate this song 8/10.

2.      DJ Flammzy ft CDQ X FALZ- Modinatu: Just like I said, CDQ keeps getting better and with lines like “O le pemi ni shekau, make I blow your mind.....” CDQ once again killed this song which he was featured on. Falz the bahd guy also brought his a game as the chorus was in his typical pattern and with lines like “your body be the bomb you be C4.....”Falz didn't take it easy on this track. Big ups to Fliptyce for the production of this song, he also killed. I rate this song 8/10.

3.      Tiwa Savage- Hurry and Wait: though I was told this song isn’t a new song but I just came across it and I must say I am impressed with Tiwa. This song actually reminds me of that Tiwa Savage that I fell in love with and not the Eminado Tiwa that she was trying to become. I rate this 8/10.

4.      Loose Kaynon ft Dice X Koker- Awon Temi: Yes people CBN is in the building and they killed it on this track. Loose Kaynon employed the service of his label mates Dice X Koker and the Choc Boys Nation did fall hand at all. First and foremost Dice nailed it on the chorus, Loose also brought his A-game with his thick groovy rap and Mr Koker gave the song another feel with that his killing voice on that short hook. I rate this song 9/10.

5.      Olu Maintain ft MC Galaxy- Chop Knuckle: Olu Maintain is back with another dope song and this time around he brought MC Galaxy with him. To be candid I like the style and pattern Olu used in delivering this song but the no no for me was the fact that I felt like I was hearing Jagaban. The beat sound so much like Ycee Jagaban that if I heard this song first I would have said Ycee stole Olu's beat. Aside from that the song is a good song but because of that beat I would rate the song 6/10.

6.      King Mufasa has two songs on the review and they are;
Buff ft Ice Prince X Yung L X Endia-: This is a reggae song as King Mufasa employed the service of some of the best reggae artiste in Yung L X Endia but the bad side for me was Ice Prince on the hook. Really Ice shouldn’t have been on this song and that for me took away the vibes from this song. The rating would be 6/10.
Gbori ft Ycee X Dynasty: Now this is much better song from King Mufasa, from the beat up to the features Ycee X Dynasty, the song is totally dope and I rate 8/10.

7.      Korede Bello ft Tiwa Savage- Romantic: Okay let me confess if I was girl I would fall in love with Korede for this song. I mean from the beat to his style of delivery and his lines everything was dope and once again Tiwa didn't fall my hand. I rate this song a romantic 8/10.

8.      Yemi Alade ft DJ Arafat- Do As I Do: I know a lot of people would hype this song, but really there is nothing special about this song. It is still the same normal Yemi Alade/ Selebobo production sound though DJ Arafat gave it a little bit of spice sha. I rate this song 7/10.

9. DJ King ft Lloys- Moving Faster: First let me say good job to Vynchie for the production of this song, really dope. Now to the song proper, very good song I must say but there was too much shouting on the chorus I believe if Lloys had reduce his voice a little the song would have sounded better but hey this is not a bad song. I rate it 7/10

10. Isolate Sokoto Popo: After fading away from the music for a while Isolate is back with another club banger titled Sokoto Popo and I must confirm this is one of Isolate's best song. The beat was so on point and it delivery was tight and that earned the song 7/10.
