Cristiano seems to have
regained his goal-scoring touch. He has found the net in five of his last six
games with the club and with his 23 goals this season he is now in the Top 5
ranking of leading goal scorers in Europe’s major leagues
(Spain, Italy, England, Germany and France) tying in third place with Bayern Munich’s,
Robert Lewandowsk on 23 strikes in all official competition.
Ahead of Ronaldo is Luis
Suárez (on 24), his five goals for FC Barleona during the Club World Cup helping
the Uruguayan. In top position is Patrick Aubameyang, the Borussia Dortmund
striker who has been on target on 27 occasions during the current campaign with
18 Bundesliga strikes, 7 Europa League goals and two DFB Pokal goals.
It will not be easy for Real
Madrid to find another striker who can guarantee over 50 goals per season as
Cristiano has over the past five years. He has found the net on 336 times in 322
games at the Spanish club. A remarkable average of 1,04 goals per game. Bayern Munich's
Lewandowski has found the net for the Bavarian outfit on 48 occasions in 75 matches,
an average of 0,64 goals per match.
