James Argent Confirms He Has Signed Up For The New Series Of The Jump

James Argent, took to his Twitter page on Monday to confirm that he has signed up for the reality show, The Jump.

James responded to a fan who tweeted him about the line-up and he replied “I'm sure it's going to be tough but great entertainment for you guys!”. The reality star veteran lost four stone earlier this year under a new health and fitness regime that no doubt will help him take on the challenging winter sports, which include skeleton, bobsleigh, speed skating and giant slalom. The star has kept optimistic about his prospects, and when asked if he believed he could win, he tweeted: Stranger things have happened lol!

The programme, which previously just saw the celebrities battle it out on the slopes, will now feature glimpses of what they get up to in their downtime, with the stars being filmed while they live together. Arg is no stranger to competition, having starred in the short-lived Channel 5 series, Celebrity Super Spa.

Other stars rumoured to be taking part in the show include former Westlife singer Brian McFadden and Olympic champion Linford Christie. Former Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding is also said to be keen to prove herself on the show following her disappointing stint in Coronation Street earlier this year.
