Russian President Endorses Donald Trump for President

The President of Russian Vladimir Putin heaped praise on Presidential hopeful Donald Trump on Thursday as he said he would welcome a Trump presidency.

Putin had this to say in his annual end-of-the-year news conference “He's a very lively man, talented without doubt, absolute leader in the presidential race, he's saying he wants to go to another level of relations, closer, deeper relations with Russia, how can we not welcome that? Of course we welcome that”. Though Putin also pointed out that Russia would work with “whoever the American voters choose”.
