Netflix Renews Jessica Jones For Season 2

Though this shouldn’t really surprise anyone, Jessica Jones has finally been confirmed for a second season.

We had already saw this coming, so it was really just a matter of when would Marvel official make the announcement for the second season since the first season had excellent reviews and a lot of love from fans last year. Right from the start people had been asking for a second season and there was never really a doubt in anyone’s mind that we would get one.

The only details we have at this point is that it will be a 13 episode affair and that Melissa Rosenberg will be back as showrunner. It will be a while before any further details is released as Marvel still needs to get through Iron Fist and presumably The Defenders before focusing on Jessica’s sophomore outing.
