Norwich
City have wrapped up the signing of
striker Steven Naismith from Everton
on a three-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
It was reported on Monday that the Scottish
forward was set to undergo a medical ahead of a potential £8.5m move and the
Canaries confirmed the deal had been completed on Tuesday afternoon. Naismith is
the fifth player to join Norwich on a permanent basis in January, following the
acquisitions of Matt Jarvis, Ivo
Pinto, Timm Klose and
future prospect Ben Godfrey.
Naismith told Norwich's website: “I'm very happy to have signed because now I
can concentrate on the football side of things. Norwich have displayed class in
the way they've done their business all the way through. They've shown how much
they wanted me, which is great, and I'm delighted to be here”
