The Eagles will campaign in
Group C of this year’s championship alongside 2011 winners Tunisia, Niger Republic
and Guinea, with matches to be played at the Stade Regional Nyamirambo, Kigali.
Nigeria will be missing the
services of dependable striker Gbolahan Salami who wants to finalize a deal to
a foreign club in Europe which will rule him out of the Championship exclusively
meant for players playing in their country's league.
