John Terry To Miss FA Cup Tie Against Manchester City

After missing the midweek Champions League last-16 first-leg defeat at Paris Saint-Germain due to am hamstring injury during last weekend's 5-1 win against Newcastle John Terry would now miss out Chelsea's FA Cup fifth-round tie at home to Manchester City on Sunday.

Interim boss Guus Hiddink said that “He will not be fit for this weekend, I saw him this morning. He was with the physios yesterday, trying a bit on the pitch. Still too many problems to be fit for the weekend”. Hiddink hopes Terry will be fit enough to return to action for the Premier League game at Southampton on February 27 but confirmed he will take a cautious approach with his skipper.

He added “We have a week, I hope next weekend he will be available. I cannot predict it. I think we have to be a bit cautious with him as well."
