Heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury
has said that he has no idea who he will be fighting next. Fury won the WBA
Super, WBO and IBF world titles when he out-pointed the formidable Wladimir Klitschko in Dusseldorf last
November and the duo looked set to clash again when Klitschko announced that he
was activating a rematch clause in his contract.
Fury was even stripped of one of his world titles because of his apparent
commitment to fight Klitschko again rather than take on the IBF mandatory
challenger Vyacheslav Glazkov. However,
speaking at Saturday's big Carl Frampton-Scott Quigg showdown,
Fury said he was in the dark in terms of when he would be back in action. “I have no idea when the next fight is, who
it is going to be, no idea," he said. "So that is a bit of an update
for everybody”
When asked if Klitschko was not his most likely next opponent, Fury replied “I don't know who it is going to be, to be
honest. I have no confirmation on if it is going to be Klitschko, Fred
Flintstone or Batman, I have no idea”.
