Today’s women have different priorities, career first, love later and casual sex and relationships in between. University of New York research indicates if the gene is in your DNA, you’re prone to ‘sensation-seeking’ behaviours and more attracted to instant ‘highs’ like doing drugs and sleeping with strangers.

2.      Mother Nature

Evolutionary scientists say women are far more likely to sleep with a stranger when they are ovulating and most likely to get pregnant. If you’re having troubles getting pregnant, evolution also tries to make strangers look attractive to introduce new, possibly more viable, sperm. I guess they don’t call them Animal Impulses for nothing.

3.      They Can’t Resist Super Hot Men

Women are far more likely to go for casual sex if the guy is very attractive and this is according to research in Brunel University in the UK. Attractive people look healthy and strong which is why evolution also pushes them their way.

4.      If She Has Wide Hips

A woman hip circumference and sexual history are linked, according to research at Leeds University. In the study, women with wider hips reported having had more frequent casual sex than narrow-hipped women with the conclusion drawn that it was because they’re subconsciously less worried about childbirth.

5.      If They Are Getting Over Someone

According to some scientists it has been found that having casual sex was actually a natural coping mechanism after a relationship break up with potentially positive benefits.

6.      If They Are Confident About Sex

If a woman is shy, easily embarrassed or not terribly confident about her sexual abilities, sex with someone you love and trust is going to be one hell of a lot more comfortable.

7.      They Want To Try Something A Bit Out There

We all have a dark sexual side that’s turned on by things we don’t necessarily want to do with the person we’re planning to share our life with. Some women use casual sex to try out ‘kinky’ sex. Who cares if the person judges us if they have no idea who we are and we’ll never see them again?

8.      They Don’t Care If Society Frowns On You

Even if no one else but the person you are sleeping with can see what you are up to, there is still a double standard that says men who have casual sex are studs and women who have them are sluts. If you’re going to beat yourself up afterward, what’s the point?

9.      They Are Not Looking For Long-Term Love.

It might happen in movies but most one-night stands don’t lead to long-term relationships and that is the main reason why some women are engaged in it. They don’t want to commit to any relationship yet they want to also satisfy their sexual urge so casual sex is the solution for them.

10.  Positive Psychological Boost

There is lots of evidence linking sleeping around with depression and anxiety but there is also evidence that one-night-stands can give some people a positive psychological boost. if you are having no-strings-sex because you love sex, like the person you’ve met and feel in control of the situation and your sexuality, it can actually lower depression and anxiety (New York University research)
