Jose Morais Suffers Brain Haemorrhage

Former assistant to Jose Mourinho at Chelsea Jose Morais is suffering from a brain haemorrhage and his former boss Jose Mourinho has sent him a goodwill message.

Morais has spent a week in hospital after suffering minor bleeding on the brain and major headaches and neck pain but is due to be discharged on Tuesday. He and Mourinho have a particularly close relationship with Morais working for his Portuguese compatriot at Inter Milan and Real Madrid before becoming assistant-coach at Stamford Bridge.

Morais' agent Ian Anderson said: “Jose is feeling well again after the scare. He's under great care at a Antalya hospital but can't wait to get back to work this week”.
