Absolute Hearts Weekly Music Reviews

It Friday my beautiful people and we are back to serve you with the fresh and hottest music in town right here on Absolute Hearts Weekly Music Reviews. Remember, we have extended our rating beyond Nigeria as we have included other African artiste in as much as they have been able to win the hearts of Nigerians.

So with that been said let get down to the rating;
1.      Stonebwoy ft Burna Boy- Sick Inna Head: Stonebwoy came through on this one as he brought Burna Boy along. The song was produced by Masta Garzy and I must say he did a good job on this one and as expected both Stonebwoy and Burna killed it as the chorus and the verses were on point. Very nice rhythm with a cool progression and the rating would be 8/10.
2.      Yung6ix- Everything Nine: First of all, let me say this with all authority Yung6ix is one rapper that has been very much underrated in this country and that aint fair. Big ups to Magnum for the production of this beat, very dope I must say and as for the bars, 6ix didn’t dull it at all with lines like “forget Mtv you know say I base for here” “now they say I cornfarm like where them they plant maize”. Everything about this song is dope from beat to chorus to verse and I rate the song 9/10.
3.      Mc Galaxy- Dollar: Well your guess is as good as mine, this song was inspired by the current situation of dollars in the country and you could even hear it in the song. I would say a very creative song and in as much as I hate to admit I think I would end up liking this song. This song was produced  by a Ghanaian producer who goes by the name DJ Breezy and he didn’t do badly at all with the whole new Azonto sound he brought into the song. I rate this song 7/10.
4.      Lil Kesh ft Ycee- Cause Trouble: First of all make I say I fo for Pheelz Mr. Producer, the production of the song is very very dope, I mean the beat alone na cause trouble. Now as for the song itself, mehn Kesh was so on fire like say person vex am before him enter studio because he really came out hard on this one and Ycee didn’t also dull it as he brought his A-game. This is another hit song from Kesh and YBNL Nation and I rate this song 9/10.
5.      Killertunes ft Chinko Ekun- Flengo: One of the hottest producers in Nigeria Killertunes serves us with the dope joint and he features another YBNL Nation rapper in person of Chinko Ekun. Killertunes shows how dope he is with the beat and production of this song which is very dope and as for Chinko Ekun he did proper justice to the song, I must say what a nice chorus. I rate this song 8/10.
6.      DJ Badoo ft Skakes- Finally: I must confess my rating of this song is solely  base on the beat and production of this song because this beat alone dope pass all the nonsense verse way Skales sing on top. Popito I fo for you, this production na die and Skales did well with the chorus but as for the verses he didn’t do well at all. I rate this song 7/10.
7.      Del B ft Wizkid X Reminisce- Oshe: When it comes to production Del B is one of those big boys as he has been responsible for some great hits we have heard in the past, just to mention some few, he produce Limpopo and On Top Your Matter. With the kind of people he featured on this song I was expecting something much more powerful especially with the madt beat that was laid down but I didn’t get that. I would say the chorus is very dope but I didn’t feel the verse from Wizkid in fact what happened to his voice on this song? And for Reminisce I think he did enough to save the song, my rating for this song would be a 6/10.
8.      Cynthia Morgan- Olowo: Cynthia really knows how to come out with those hit song and once again I am impressed with this song. Olowo was produce by Qasebeatz and I must say she did a good job. This is not the regular dancehall song we normally  hear from Cynthia,  this is more of Afro sound and she blended in perfectly, the chorus alone was dope not to talk about her verses and bridge, my rating for this song would be 8/10.
9.      Killbeatz ft Fuse OGD X Mugeez Bokor Bokor: Ghanaian top producer Killbeatz features two of the best Ghanaian artiste in person of Fuse OGD X Mugeez (of R2bees) in the song Bokor Bokor. I must say this is a decent song with a very nice message and I am guessing this is what highlife sounds like in Ghana because the song has  this highlife tune in it and for those of you wondering, this song simply means slow and steady wins the race, Bokor Bokor means slow slow and the full meaning of the chorus is slow slow you would get there. I rate this song 9/10.
10DJ Neptune ft Flavour- TGIF (Time No Dey): The baddest DJ ever liveth like he use to call himself teams up with Flavour and together they gave us this powerful jam. The beat and the production of this song is very dope and I am pretty sure DJ Neptune himself actually sang in this particular song. Once again Masterkraft has proven to me and anymore who still doubts it, that he is one of the baddest producer at the moment. I rate this song 8/10.
11.  DJ Jimmy Jatt ft Flavour- Turn Up: Legendary deejay DJ Jimmy Jatt teams up with Flavour and Del B and together they produce this powerful groovy reggae jam.  Del B did better with the production of this song compare with what he did with Oshe and as for Flavour, he just shows us he is one of the most versatile musicians we have in this country. Nice jam from Jimmy and my rating would be 9/10.
12.  Dammy Krane- Kalamity: I just hope Timaya won’t come out to say that Dammy Krane stole is beat oooo because there are some elements of Sanko inside this song. With the help of EOD who produced this song Dammy was able to add some strings and base to the Sanko beat giving it more higher  tempo. This is not a hit song but this song would defiantly rock the club and my rating would be 7/10.
