1. Crying
It is normal for every newborn to cry
but what you might not know is the fact that newborns can’t cry tears at all
until they are at least 2 weeks old meaning they would be crying but yoiu won’t
see tears.
2. Bones
As adults we have 206 bones but babies
have 270 in total that is 64 more bones
3. Growing
There is no doubt that babies grow quite
a lot and very fast but what you might not know is that if a baby continued to
grow at the same rate as in his or her first year, at 20 years of age he/she
would be about 30 feet tall.
4. Eyes
Our eyes don’t grow much as we get older, they’re already 75% their adult size when we are born.5. Black And White
Do you remember how you saw things when you were younger? Well a newborn baby sees things in black and white.6. Glucose
A baby’s brain uses 50% of glucose for
his or her brain.
7. Tastebuds
The average adult has around 10,000
taste buds but babies have about three times more than adults do.
8. In The Womb
Now this is the most interesting and
amazing fact, when someone is pregnant and the mother is sick, the baby will
send stem cells to help repair the damaged organs of the mother.
9. Swimming
Because of all the time spent in the amniotic fluid, babies are born with the ability to swim.
10. Salt
Babies can’t taste salt until they are 4
years old even though babies have three times more tastebuds than adults do.
