Kesha Tells Body Shamers To F*ck Off

 

The Die Young songstress shared a photo of herself lounging in a pool in a bikini on Instagram early Monday and wanted to make it clear that she doesn't care about what the haters have to say. “Not a slave to perfection right now. F*ck it. ***body shamers please f*ck off ain't nobody got time for it, she captioned the pic. “@lhorizonpalmsprings in my skivvies”

Kesha and her friends stayed at L'Horizon Resort Palm Springs over the weekend where they relaxed, tanned and maybe even got a little too much sun! She joked on Instagram “Had THE most relaxing weekend with my friends at @lhorizonpalmsprings I like. slept longer than I have in 20 years. and then got sunburned seriously a magical oasis hideaway”

Her relaxing weekend falls in the midst of her ongoing legal battle with Dr. Luke. Just last week Kesha and her lawyers appealed a judge's decision from last month that kept her in her recording contract with the famous producer. They argued that denying her request for an injunction on her recording contract to release music outside of the producer's authority is similar to slavery.

 

The appeal stated “First, the Court erred in basing its decision on its finding that Kesha could record without interference from Gottwald. Although it recognized that 'slavery was done away with a long time ago' and that '[y]ou can't force someone to work...in a situation in which they don't want to work, the Court's ruling requiring Kesha to work for Gottwald's companies, purportedly without his involvement, does just that. As the Court itself recognized, '[i]t's slavery. You can't do that”
 

Dr. Luke's legal team issued a response to Kesha's appeal saying “the Court repeatedly stated Kesha was already free to record without Dr. Luke, and that she had not presented any facts supporting her claims. That's because all the evidence show her allegations are false. Her attorneys can continue manufacturing even more false and outrageous claims, but the fact remains that her time would be better spent in a studio than wasting time having her lawyer and mother spin lies in the media”
 

A trial isn't expected to start until 2017.
