Nigeria's Super Eagles lost 1-0 To Egypt, Fail To Qualify For AFCON 2017

Nigeria’s Super Eagles is out year’s Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Gabon after they were beaten 1-0 on Tuesday by the Pharaohs of Egypt in a crucial Group G clash at the Borg El Arab stadium, Alexandria.

The Egyptians had on Friday forced Nigeria to a 1-1 draw in Kaduna.

The Eagles needed to win Tuesday’s game to stand a realistic chance of returning to the AFCON after missing out on the 2015 edition.
