Maurice Cooreman Unimpressed With Akwa United's Display Against Plateau United

 

Maurice Cooreman has expressed his dissatisfaction with his side's showing against the Fling Antelopes on Sunday.  Goals from Bobby Clement, Tope Olusesi and in-form Chisom Egbuchulam tore apart the Promise Keepers in the match day seven Nigeria Professional Football League clash.

He said “Quite frankly I expected something better from my team, I know we are capable of so much more. Even if the game was very balanced and the deadlock broken by a technically wonderful goal, we still could've done more. Did the midweek game influence our performance? That should not be an excuse. We ought to have done better than this. I hope the boys respond in the next match against Warri Wolves”
