#AHMusicReview: Absolute Hearts Music Review

 

This is another fresh episode of #AHMusicReview and like we normally do, we serve you with the best of not just new music but also we criticize, analyse and rate those particular sets of new music. Today we are spicing it up, on behalf of our partners BCP Radio we are giving out Free Recharge Cards to the First Two People who can predict correctly what song would be the Song Of The Week when this program airs  today by 4pm on BCP Radio.

1.      2Baba- Mr. Senator: This is another grove song from the legend himself and he titled this one Mr. Senator. This song would definitely go far but not instantly it would need time to settle in. Not trying to start a rumour but I heard this song was done to celebrate his Campari endorsement. The rating for the song would be 8/10.

2.      9ice Pariboto: First of let me give credit to TeeY Mix for the wonderful production he did on this song. 9ice keeps dropping singles as he is working hard to make sure he returns to the top and this one is a decent effort from him. The rating for this song would be 8/10.

3.      Ajebutter22 ft Falz Bahd Gang: If there is one thing I am certain of, it is the fact that a Studio Magic production with an Ajebutter vocal is always a dope joint and they both proved that with the dope track titled Bahd Gang which by the way featured the Bahd Guy himself Falz. The rating for this song would be 9/10.

4.      Davido ft Runtow X Akon- Chillin: Well if the rumour flying around is anything to go by then the Baddest album should drop later this year and this is one of the track that made the cut. Chillin is a decent song that would defiantly go far and he employed the help of Akon and Runtown and before I forget, nice job from Shizzi for the production of this song. Ironically, it is a chilling production.  The rating would be 9/10

5.      DJ Jimmy Jatt ft Obadice X Vector- Obalende Gold: Legendary DJ Jimmy Jatt decided to do something for his hood and he brought two of his hood star along Vector and Obadice. Obalende Gold is another decent song from Jimmy and of course Vector and Obadice actually killed the song. The rating would be 8/10.

6.      MC Galaxy ft Swizz Beat Sekem Remix: Okay let me be candid when I heard the remix of this song was going to be with Swizz Beat, I was expecting Swizz to probably produce the song and with that I wasn’t looking forward to the song but after listening to the song I must commend MC Galaxy for pulling this up. Swizz Beat was really into the song and that brought a new feel to the song which by the way still maintained some of the original beat but Young D added some additional strings which for me was the killer buzz in the song. The ratting of this song would 9/10.

7.      Pepenazi fi Lil Kesh Iwo Na: Really I don’t understand how Pepenazi does it, that he keeps dropping dope tracks. I guess he must be learning a lot from YBNL. Iwo Na which he featured YBNL solider Lil Kesh is another dope song that would defiantly go far. The rating would be 8/10.

8.      Saeon- Let It Go: Baseline first lady comes through on this dope song titled Let It Go and I must say this song is fire. I know Saeon is good but with this song she just took my expectation to another level and God bless whoever produced this song, damn the beat and production his evil. The rating would be a solid 9/10.

9.      Blackmagic Loyal: In celebration of his birthday Blackmagic dropped this nice afrobeat tune titled Loyal. It a good thing that artistes are beginning to appreciate their fans on their song and as for the song it is a typical Blackmagic tune and the rating would be 8/10.
