Dwayne Johnson And Kevin Hart Eyed For Jumanji Remake

Sony has their sights set on the dynamic duo of Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart for their upcoming Jumanji remake. The two actors, who are amongst the busiest in Hollywood, will soon be headlining New Line’s Central Intelligence and recently hosted the MTV Movie Awards, proving that they’ve got great chemistry together and make for a very entertaining pair.

Neither actor has signed on just yet, though the studio is trying their best to make it work. Unfortunately though, they may have a tough time. As we mentioned above, both Johnson and Hart are exceptionally busy and have very full schedules. Finding a time that works for both of them will prove to be quite challenging, but we’re hoping Sony can make it work out.

As for the remake itself, it is of course based on the 1995 film of the same name, which had Joe Johnston behind the camera and Robin Williams and Kirsten Dunst in front. This version is said to reimagine the original family adventure film and update it for the present. Jumanji will be directed by Jake Kasdan.
