Jurgen Klopp's Rant On Daniel Sturridge

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was left annoyed after being questioned about Daniel Sturridge's display in their 2-1 win over Bournemouth on Sunday.

Sturridge scored once and played a big role in Roberto Firmino's opener at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday, after being recalled to the starting lineup.

Klopp was frustrated at being asked about the striker by a journalist in his post-match press conference, when he felt the focus should have been on the whole team's display He said “You want to talk about one player at the first moment? He was very good, but if you're not interested in the game... He's a brilliant player. He had a very good game. This is a game, there are 11 players in different positions and you come to ask about one player. Each player had influence. It's a team game. I enjoyed the game of Daniel Sturridge, but starting with a question like this? I can't understand”.
