Quigg believes the Northern Irishman, who also holds the IBF crown, will vacate rather than face the WBA's champion 'in recess' Rigondeaux, who recently pulled out of a scheduled UK debut against Jazza Dickens.
Quigg said “I had an X-ray on Tuesday. Everything is healing fine. It's knitted back together. They say it takes six weeks for a fracture to heal then it's got to set and get stronger. I've got another two months before I can't start sparring again. As soon as I can fight again, and I'm looking at September or October, then I want to be back where I belong with the biggest fight possible. Hopefully we can go straight back in for a world title. Forget the injury or the jaw. I want to be back where I feel like I belong - at the top. I want to be in with the biggest opponent I can be in with because I want to prove that I'm the best. Obviously Frampton has both belts. I don't think he'll fight Rigondeaux and the WBA belt will become vacant then. I'd be happy to take that straight away”
