“In the name of God the Great we shall kill, slaughter and drain
the blood of every single unbeliever, every apostate and every traitor that
supports them until we establish our new world Caliphate. We will wash our
hands with the blood of the infidels.” – Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State of Iraq
and The Levant (ISIL).
These are
the words of a monstrous vampire that desires to swim in an ocean of innocent
blood. These are the thoughts and satanic vision of the indisputable leader of
the dreaded terrorist movement known as Daesh.
These are
the aspirations of a man that rejects the version of Islam that we know, that
we respect and that the overwhelming majority of Muslims espouse and practice.
This is a
man that represents such a graphic and fundamental perversion and corruption of
the faith that he claims to represent and that has become such a terror to
humanity that he can hardly be described as a human being at all but rather as
a barbarous beast that is not worthy of life.
Simply put
Mr. Al Baghdadi is beyond the pale: his level of depravity and capacity for
evil is simply incomprehensible. There is no word that can adequately describe
his brand of depravity and his insidious level of inhumanity.
So seized
of the devil is he that even his brothers in terror like the Taliban and Al
Qaeda speak of him in hushed tones.
In his famous play titled The Tempest Shakespeare wrote: “hell is empty. All the
devils are here”.
The bard
was right. All the devils and demons have indeed left hell and they are right
here on planet earth.
All across
the world they spread their vile message of violence and hate.
They kill
Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, moderate Muslims, secularists, atheists,
agnostics and all those who do not share their barbaric beliefs and primitive
world view.
They take
special delight in preying on the weak and the vulnerable, especially the young
and the old.
To them
the energy and life-force of a pubescent child is like nectar which they take
joy in sucking out, absorbing and drinking and sacrificing to their demons.
They
unleash bombs, bullets, bloodshed, genocide, mass murder, ethnic cleansing, beheadings,
suicide bombers, child soldiers, butchery and carnage everywhere they go and
all in the name of their god.
No wonder the Holy Bible says “the
tender mercies of the wicked are cruel”.
What can
one say about those who slit open the throats of others and drain all their
blood, all in the name of their god?
What can
one say about those who put their fellow human beings in iron cages and burns
them alive all in the name of their god?
What can one say about those that
tie up women in the presence of a frenzied crowd and stone them to death all in
the name of their god?
What can
one say about those that carve out the hearts of their fellow men and eat them
raw in front of television cameras all in the name of their god?
What can
one say about those that abduct, rape, enslave and murder little girls and
justify it all in the name of their god?
These are
the people that King Abdullah II of Jordan has rightly described as the
“outlaws of Islam”. They are indeed not just the ‘outlaws of Islam’ but also
the troublers of humanity.
They are
the seeds of the great serpent Lucifer, the Son of the Dawn and the spawn of
hell. They are the mortal enemies of all men and women of faith and all
believers in the Living God.
They are
the adversaries of every true Muslim, every Christian and every Jew on the
planet.
Their’s is
to spread hate, fear, terror, carnage, bloodshed and sorrow. Their’s is to
steal, kill and destroy. Their’s is to do the bidding of Satan and to establish
the counsel of the ungodly here on earth.
These
jihadists are evil. They are the vermin of the earth.
Like the Jebusites, Midianites,
Canaanites and Amalekites of old, they deserve to be wiped out: every single
one of them. And it is our collective duty to see to it that this is done.
777
Ours is to offer praises to the Living God, to pray in His name and to sing with joy and pride as we march forth to meet them in the field of spiritual and physical battle.
777
Ours is to offer praises to the Living God, to pray in His name and to sing with joy and pride as we march forth to meet them in the field of spiritual and physical battle.
Ours is to
turn ourselves into the Lord’s tool of judgment and to strike them down
wherever they may be.
Ours is to
ensure that the forces of light prevail over the forces of darkness by the
power of His word. This is our calling and duty and God Himself wills it.
And if
they are still in any doubt about where all these is heading to in the Nigerian
context, they should consider the following.
On December 30th 1964, Mallam Bala
Garba told the West African Pilot newspaper that:
“the
conquest to the sea is now in sight. When our god-sent Ahmadu Bello said some
years ago that our conquest will reach the sea shores of Nigeria, some idiots
in the South were doubting its possibilities. Today have we not reached the
sea? Lagos is reached. It remains Port-Harcourt. It must be conquered and
taken.”
This is an
eloquent expression of radical Islam, with its pervasive use of violence as a
tool of conquest and subjugation, in its purest and most obvious form.
Inspired
and equipped with this Janjaweed philosophy and ethos, the whole of core
Northern Nigeria was conquered by Sheikh Usman Dan Fodio through the use of
terror and by the power of the sword in the name of jihad. Millions of innocent
non-Muslims were cut to pieces in the process.
Given the
activities of Boko Haram and the Fulani herdsmen in our country today, it
appears that some in our shores are still interested in implementing that
satanic agenda.
They wish
to continue where Usman Dan Fodio stopped and they wish to “dip the Koran in
the Atlantic ocean”.
Their latest
attempt is the introduction and proposal of what is known as the Cattle Grazing
Act which will give the Fulani herdsmen the right to claim other peoples’ land
all over the country and which will empower them by law to create their own
settlements and communities in the territory of others.
Worse still, under that law the
government will be compelled to fund those settlements and put all that they
need in terms of infrastructure in place for them. That is why our Minister of
Agriculture is now talking about importing Brazilian grass for the Fulani
herdsmen and their cattle.
This
subtle and exceptionally brilliant attempt to infiltrate and conquer by guile
and assimilation reminds me of the frightful laws that were put in place in the
old wild western prairies of 19th century America.
Those laws
gave the white settlers rights over the lands of the indigenous Red Indians and
saw the Indians themselves subjected to genocide and ethnic cleansing and
herded into barren reservations that were not fit for human habitation.
It was in
this way that the “wild west” was conquered and the once proud and noble
war-like Indian tribes of the western prairies were subjugated and subdued.
Sadly our
legislators in the National Assembly from the South and the Middle Belt simply
do not appreciate and cannot comprehend the serious implications of what they
are doing by supporting this evil legislation, and neither will the
consequences of their naivety and folly be suffered by their constituents until
it is far too late.
If that
law is ever passed and implemented, two years from that time we will regret it
deeply as a nation because it will result in nothing but conflict, chaos and
strife between the Fulani herdsmen and settlers on the one hand and the local
indigenous population on the other.
The
tragedy that unfolded in Jos, Plateau state between the indigenous Christian
Beroms and the settler Muslim Fulani for many years is a graphic example of
what will be replicated all over the South and the Middle Belt between the
Fulani and the various local indigenous populations, if that law is ever passed
and implemented.
As a
matter of fact, it will be far worse than anything that Jos ever saw. The
Cattle Grazing Act will not result in enhancing unity and peace but instead it
will result in division, bloodshed, carnage and chaos.
Whatever
anyone may feel about this, one thing that I am very clear about is the
following: the greatest threat to Muslims is radical Islam and the greatest
threat to humanity is radical Islam armed with weapons of mass destruction.
The day
that we refuse to acknowledge the dangers posed by this great evil in the name
of political correctness or anything else is the day that we will be finished
as a people.
The day we
start to turn a blind eye to its existence is the day that the countdown to our
collective end begins.
The answer
is not to ignore it, pamper it, appease it or pretend that it does not exist.
The answer is not to refuse to talk about it, refuse to write about it or
refuse to publish it.
The answer
is to sensitise the people about what is going on, join hands with others in
the international community and fight it head on. Together we must crush this
barbaric and evil scourge that has plagued and afflicted the entire world.
Permit me
to end this contribution with a timely contribution from Mr. Emeka Umeagbalasi
and Mrs. Obianuju Joy Igboeli, the Chairman and Secretary of the International
Society for Civil Liberties and the Rule of Law respectively. Last week they
wrote the following.
“The
Fulani Herdsmen and their military wing (Fulani terrorists) in Nigeria, fully
backed by the government of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari have become the Sudanese
Janjaweed and the Rwandan Banyamulenges, all supported and backed by the
governments of the two countries. It is our stern warning that genocide and
widespread butcheries are steadily looming in Nigeria and the menace of
Nigeria’s newest Janjaweed, condoned and aided by the government of Buhari, has
risen to an apogee. The government of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari must disarm and
stop aiding and abetting the military wing of the Fulani Herdsmen before it is
too late. Citizens traditionally and excusably take up arms or resort to
dangerous self-help whenever they see or perceive government to be incapable,
unable, and unwilling to protect their security, safety and fundamental
liberties from malicious and criminal State and non-State actors”.
A word is
enough for the wise.
