#AHMusicReview #Absolute Hearts Music Review

Welcome to another fresh episode of #AHMusicReview, Absolute Hearts Music Review and like we normally do we serve you with the best of not just new music but also we criticize, analyse and rate those particular sets of new songs.

Remember you can also listen to the live broadcast of this program BCP Radio every Friday 4-5pm via www.bcp.com.ng Without any further ado here are the songs we have for this week;

1.      Ice Prince ft Korede Bello Chike: I won’t lie this song is a good decent song considering the beat and production including the lyrics, everything was well blended. I particular liked the way Korede Bello took the chorus tried to bring in another melody into the song with his verse also BUT the only problem is that listening to this song I felt like I was listening to Olamide’s Abule Sowo, it was very obvious Ice Prince was going all Abule on us and that did get in my way of liking this song truly but like I said it is a decent effort sadly the rating won’t be more than 7/10.

2.      Vector- What’s That: Really when I heard this song I was like What That? Who gave Vector the permission to drop this dope joint? This song would not only go far but title would also became a major slang for guys and even bae’s very soon, I mean you no do hit song you want make I review you What’s That!!! (lol). Brilliant song for V.E.C and of course dope production from Mekoyo. The rating of this song would be 9/10.

3.      Pasuma Change: I never thought I would say this but I swallow my pride and say Pasuma has proved to me that he is not just one lucky Fuji artiste that is able to do hip hop but he is indeed a complete musician. From Fuji to Hip hop and Afro sound, trust me Pasuma is a G in this industry. Brilliant song no doubt about that and Puff Tee brought the fire on the production and additional vocals. The rating of this song would be 8/10.

4.      IceBerg Slim ft Davido Wave: Iceberg is one of those artistes that just need to face music fully and they would definitely take over. Wave is a brilliant song and also shows that Iceberg still gat that fire in him and as for Davido I don’t know how he does it, he just blended into the song like say na him them do beat for. The rating for this song would 9/10.

5.      Jaywon ft Small doctor X Obesere Paraga: I won’t lie I am still enjoying Jaywon Oba Orin album so when I saw this song I was eager to lay my hands on it and when I did well let just say it was really what I was expecting. This song is a decent street song,  the ONLY problem this song has is the ending, I mean why spoil the song with that Fuji nonsense Obesere did, like really what’s that? That part wasn’t even needed at all and if at all he needed to add Fuji because of the beat an LKT or Pasuma would have don’t better. The rating of this song sadly would be 6/10.

6.      L.A.X Gimme Dat: In the midst of all the rumour that L.A.X isn’t under the Star Boi imprint that doesn’t seem to bother the young act instead he focus his energy on his sounds as he provides us with the dope track called Gimme Dat. Produced by Legendary Beatz so it is understandable that the beat had some Baba Nla sample in it but like I said this is another fire from L.A.X and the rating would be 8/10.

7.      Mr 2Kay- Ladder: Nice joint from Mr 2kay I must say, I like the song simple because of the message the song was to passing. Cool beat and cool production too and I can bet you this song would definitely go far. The rating would be 7/10.

8.      Lil Prince Ameen Worry Dem: I have known Lil Prince Ameen for a long time now so believe me when I say this dude is super talented not just as a singer but also as a producer. Worry Dem is another brilliant song from Lil Prince and I must say he did well on this track though not a hit song with constant airplay this song would definitely go far. The rating would be 7/10.
