David Ginola Taken To Hospital At Football Event In France

 

Former Newcastle and Tottenham midfielder David Ginola has been taken to hospital after fainting while playing football, according to reports in the French media. It is understood Ginola has, contrary to some reports, not suffered a heart attack.

Ginola is undergoing tests and the seriousness of his condition is not known at this stage. He wrote on Twitter: “Footy match in the midday sun, not very clever. Now having some tests done.  Whoever voted for a World Cup in Qatar in the summer?”
