1.
Sound Sultan - Hello Baale: When you talk about a video that literally depicts
everything a song is all about, then you would be talking about Hello Baale which was shot and directed
by Kemi Adetiba. This is a classic
video no doubt as it gave more life to the song with some of the comic act that
was in it. The rating would be 10/10.
2. General Pype - The Seed: Nice video with cool concepts, the video was able to bring out the real message of the song which is basically about you not giving up no matter what as we could see with the whole military training. There is just one thing I don’t understand and that would be the girl in white in the river, really what was that scene about? but aside that the video isn’t bad. The rating would be 7/10 and t was shot by Ladupont Media.
3. Lil Kesh- Ishe: Nice concept I must say, I liked the fact that the video was more like an interview session where Kesh was able to talk about his beginning and how his mum has been there to help which was really what the song was all about. Every scene was on point and the fact that they didn’t show us the young boy Kesh is something I find creative in a way because typically we would have expected someone to play young Kesh but that wasn't the case and I would say I find that cool. The video was shot and directed by Adasa Cookey and the rating would be 8/10.
4. Lucy ft Cynthia Morgan - Special Driver: I think the major thing I like about this video is the colour, I must say it is a colourful video aside that I would say it is the kind of video that you would expect for this kind of song. The rating would be 7/10.
5.
Milli Unlooking:
This is one video I like a lot because when I saw it, the meaning of the song
became really clear to me I was able to understand the pain in the song. This
video is a deeply created video which if not seen carefully you might get the
whole concept wrong. The rating for this video would 9/10 and it was directed
by Jenny Tan.
