Manchester United Interested In Hirving Lozano

 

Manchester United have made an approach for Mexico winger Hirving Lozano. The 20-year-old’s club, Pachuca, confirmed they have fielded interest for the wide man with United scouts having made checks this season.

Jose Mourinho is keen to add more faces to his United squad, but any interest Lozano pre-dates his arrival as Louis van Gaal’s successor. The youngster boasts over 100 career games under his belt already and won a first cap for Mexico back in February.

Lozano is with his country at the Copa America and played 35 minutes of their 3-1 win over Uruguay on Sunday night and Pachuca believe he could be on his way to Europe this summer - and claim United lead the chase.

Vice-president Andres Fassi said “There have been approaches [from United]. There will be time to focus on the future of Hirving Lozano. several years we have a structure of great relationship with many teams of England, in Portugal in Spain, in France, in Italy and in Germany. There are some agreements that allow the player to go to Europe in the future”.
