we criticize, analyse and rate those particular sets of new songs.
Remember you can
also listen to the live broadcast of this program BCP Radio every Friday 4-5pm via www.blackcarpetproduction.com Without any
further ado here are the songs we have for this week;
1. Mz Kiss ft Illbliss- Ikilo: Once again Mz Kiss returns with label mate and boss Illbliss on this dope hip hop joint titled Ikilo. Nice production from Krazklef I must say and of course both act made sure they murdered the beat. The rating would be 8/10.
2. Natoe C ft Burna Boy X Phyno-Soft Remix: Nateo C returns with the remix to one of his song and he brought Burna Boy X Phyno and I must say they killed it most especially Burna Boy as he took the song to another level. This is what a remix should sound like, better than the original not the other way round. The rating to this dope hip hop track would be 9/10.
3. Young John X Lil Kesh- Bend Down Select: The Wicked Producer Young John teams up Mr Me Yagi Lil Kesh and yet again they drop another club banging hit. From the beat to the production down to the delivery everything about the song is so dope and I must say Young John is truly wicked with his productions, I mean the strings he played on this song is so crazy. The rating would be 9/10.
4. Patoranking ft Sarkodie- No Kissing: This is a collaboration I have been waiting for and finally it is here and I must say I am impressed. Patoranking team up with Ghanaian finest Sarkodie and together they produced a powerful track titled No Kissing. The rating for this jam would be 8/10.
5. Cartiar-Bad: after a long break from the music scene Mr Owo Ati Swagger Cartiair returns with this cool jam titled Bad. The production of the song is the key, the beat and the instruments that were played are so on point and of course Cartiair showed us he hasn’t lost his touch. The rating for this song would be 8/10.
6. MVP-Tango: Just last week MVP appeared on the review and this week he his back with another lovely tune called Tango. Some weeks ago I was opportune to have a chat with him on BCP Radio and he said he started out singing so I am not surprised with the way he took this chorus. To be candid the song is different from the usual groovy song, in a funny way it actually has this tango feeling. The rating would be 7/10.
7. Flavour- Professor JohnBul: This is another typical Flavour jam, like we all know when it comes to solid and valid Igbo highlife nobody does it better than Flavour and this song is another prove of that. The rating would be 8/10.
8. Iyanya ft Vector X Ycee X Ice Prince X Tossy Young- Freestyle Remix: Honestly Iyanya is one artiste that I have come to like this year, I mean considering the kind of songs he has put out this year, I would be a hater not to like him. I am not sure I heard the original version of this song but this remix is really cool. This song is what I call a supercool rap song, from the production down to the delivery of each artiste everything is so on point. The rating would be 8/10
9. Ketchup ft Davido Baby Oh: No doubt Ketchup knows how to give us that club banging song and Baby Oh with Davido is just a prove of that. I think one thing that would work well for this song is the beat and production, it is on point all thanks to JFem. The rating would be 8/10.
Thank you..
