Remember you can
also listen to the live broadcast of this program BCP Radio every Friday 2-3pm via www.blackcarpetproduction.com Without any
further ado here are the songs we have for this week;
1. Charass ft Cynthia Morgan - Kiss & Tell: It a while since we heard from Charass but as expected he returned with a beautiful tune titled Kiss & Tell. This song, which featured Cynthia Morgan, isn’t your typical type of club song but it is a decent song in its own ramification though I didn’t really feel Cynthia Morgan but Charass did more than enough to make the song good. The rating would be 7/10.
2. Shaydee - Pon Da Floor: Shaydee returns with another Maleek Berry produced track titled Pon Da Floor and I must say I am impressed. As expected Maleek Berry came through on the production and of course Shaydee gave his best though maybe it's just me but I sense some Wande Coal feeling in the song. The rating would be 8/10.
3. Skales ft Davido X Timaya - Ajaja: From the moment I saw the names I was eager to listen to the song and once I listened I was impressed. First the beat and production is dope and the hook by Timaya was top notch and Davido didn’t also disappoint. If you listen carefully to this song you would notice the similarity between this beat and that of Maleek Berry The Matter ft Wizkid. The rating would be 7/10.
4. Skuki ft Phyno - E Pass Go: Okay this might be the worst song I have heard from Skuki, I like the beat and the chorus which Phyno took but aside that nothing else. I am really disappointed with what Skuki did with the verses of this song after the decent effort from Phyno on the chorus, the rating would be 5/10.
5. Vector -IDAF (I Don’t Give A Fu*k): This song was released on his birthday and really I can’t just wait for an album from Vector. From the chorus down to the beat and production and even the verse Vector was really on fire on this and the rating would be 9/10. By the way Happy Birthday in arrears to V E C.
6. YQ - Kogi United: Nice tune from YQ, the beat alone is dope and the production is also on point and YQ as expected made sure he utilizes the beat properly. The rating would be 8/10.
