
Of the selection, organizers have plucked the installment helmed by Joe Wright, entitled “Nosedive,” it features Bryce Dallas Howard and Alice Eve in a satirical, standalone episode hailing from Rashida Jones and Michael Schur.
After contributing to the show’s sophomore run, Owen Harris is back behind the lens for the first episode of Black Mirror season 3. It’s called “San Junipero” and stars Mackenzie Davis and Beyond the Lights breakout Gugu Mbatha-Raw. Beyond that, details remain thin on the ground, though we understand Dan Trachtenberg is on board to direct an episode centering on video games. All 13 episodes of Black Mirror season 3 will land on Netflix come October 21. In order to stoke excitement, two episodes of Charlie Brooker’s prescient drama will screen at Toronto International Film Festival in early September.
