Embedded below is the full picture of Hound, which pins the giant as a boisterous Autobot commando, one who seemingly always has his finger on the trigger. He’ll be rubbing mechanical shoulders with Hot Rod, Bumblebee, Barricade, Drift, Megatron and, of course, Optimus Prime.
Story details remain as sparse as ever at the time of going to press, but the first official banner for The Last Knight teed up a brutal tussle between Optimus and what appears to be a three-headed dragon. Peer closely and you’ll find a San Francisco-esque skyline, coupled with some alien megastructure that could signal a return to Cybertron – be it in the form of a flashback or full-blown space sequence.
Come June 23, 2017, Transformers: The Last Knight will herald a new era for Paramount’s CG-laden blockbuster. Thanks in part to the studio’s writers room, plans are in place for two additional Transformers sequels across 2018 and 2019, with the former rumored to be a Bumblebee spinoff.
