Jidenna to tour Nigeria this month

Nigerian-American singer, Jidenna is set to tour Nigeria and South Africa in late August as part of the promotion for his forthcoming debut album, Long Live The Chief.

The singer, popular for his hit, ‘Classic Man’, will embark on a promotional tour which will include an exclusive album launch event featuring a live performance at Hard Rock Café in Lagos.

A BBC International and True Africa-produced documentary of the singer’s journey back to his childhood home in Enugu will also be filmed.

‘The record as a whole represents all my experiences of the many worlds I’ve lived in and traveled through from Lagos to Los Angeles,’ Jidenna said of the project.

After his tour of his native country, Jidenna will move to further promote the album in South Africa.
