Sevilla To Sign Samir Nasri On Loan

Manchester City have agreed to allow Samir Nasri to join Sevilla on loan. The 29years old former Arsenal midfielder is heading to the Spanish club for a medical ahead of the deal and it is understood that there is no option to buy the player on a permanent deal.

The deal could be announced on Tuesday evening, with Sevilla paying 65 per cent of Nasri's wages for the duration of the deal. Nasri had been training separately from the Man City squad after returning from his holiday overweight, and it appears he has failed to impress manager Pep Guardiola enough to be part of his plans for the season ahead.

The midfielder, who has more than 40 caps for France, came on as a substitute in Man City's 3-1 win over West Ham on Saturday, but now looks set for a switch to the Spanish top flight. Nasri made just 12 Premier League appearances for Manchester City last season, scoring two goals.
