News From The Set Of Spider-Man: Homecoming

Spider-Man: Homecoming is currently shooting in Atlanta, the same place where Avengers: Infinity War will begin production a little later this year. It was actually last week that the Russo Brothers shared a behind the scenes photo of Josh Brolin suited up in motion capture suit to play Thanos as rehearsals kicked off, but Jon Watts has now fired back with a video of his own.

The Spider-Man: Homecoming director took to Instagram last night to share a look at Tom Holland wearing a mo-cap suit of his own as he busts a move to Daft Punk’s “Doin it Right.” We then see a very crude rendition of the wall-crawler on a monitor, a commonly used piece of technology which assists in helping a movie’s VFX experts later create a finished version. Interestingly, Jacob Batalon, who plays Ned Leeds, can also be seen here. Is this a sign that he’ll interact with the hero who’s secretly his best friend? That remains to be seen, but considering the fact that Marvel still hasn’t officially revealed who’s who in Spider-Man: Homecoming, there’s a lot we’ve been left to speculate about.

With set photos aplenty all over the internet, the studio will hopefully offer up a first look at the reboot before 2016 is over.
