Wolff is attached to the lead role of Winfield, while Skarsgård steps into the boots of his superior – the imposing Sergeant Deeks. Perhaps most exciting of all is news that Krauss is on board to write and direct this feature-length version of his doc, one which Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey will produce on behalf of Temple Hill Entertainment.
Coming off indie dramas in the vein of Paper Towns and The Fault in Our Stars, The Kill Team heralds a welcome change of pace for Nat Wolff, and ought to offer up plenty of dramatic material to chew on. Skarsgård, meanwhile, is hot off this summer’s Legend of Tarzan reboot, and will soon be bound for the Berlin of the future courtesy of Duncan Jones’ long-anticipated passion project, Mute.
Krauss’ feature spin on The Kill Team is currently simmering in pre-production, indicating that filming will commence in the early stages of 2017.
