Victor Moses is a major doubt for the 2018 World
Cup qualifier against the Chipolopolo of Zambia on 9 October. The Chelsea winger who had a stellar
performance in the Blues 2-0 win over Hull
City in Saturday’s Premier League fixture revealed that he felt his
hamstring after the game but will work hard to regain full fitness as soon as
possible.
The game was
Moses’ first start of the season in the English Premier League for Chelsea,
having featured nine times for Antonio
Conte’s side in all competitions. Moses who featured as a wing back in a
3-4-4 formation in the encounter also praised Chelsea fans for their support
during the game.
On Saturday
night he tweeted this via his handle “Unfortunately I’m feeling my hamstring
and so the club medical team will be reviewing me. Will be working hard to get
fit asap #CFC. Buzzing with the win today, brilliant team performance and great
3 points. Our fans were amazing!”
