Bobrisky freed from police custody after being arrested for punching a lady

Controversial Snapchat sensation Bobrisky (Idris Okuneye) was reportedly arrested by men of the Nigerian Police Force yesterday night for allegedly punching a lady who was taking pictures of him.

Photos of him being carried away in a police bus had made the rounds on internet earlier today to the amusement of several social media users who were surprised that the otherwise effeminate individual could actually throw a punch.

Speaking to our correspondent, Bobrisky said he had gone to fix his nails at a salon and the lady in question was filming him with her phone and was calling him names. ‘I told the woman to stop but she didn’t. I got furious and gave her a punch. After that, she threatened to call area boys but before they got there, someone else called the police before it got bloody.’

Bobrisky has been freed and he claims the matter was settled amicably.
