Godwin Enakhena Becomes Sports Administrator For Nigeria Profeesional League Side MFM

 

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) FC have elevated veteran sports journalist, Godwin Enakhena, to the status of Sports Administrator, MFM worldwide. Enakhena’s promotion highlighted major changes carried out in the club as unveiled on Thursday.

Enakhena who was chairman of the club last season, will re-jiggle the hitherto rested OKO Olukoya International Youth Football competition that used to hold at MFM Prayer City, as well as oversee the other sporting events of the church like the annual basketball, tennis and athletics competitions that was earlier rested. Under his new portfolio, the sports presenter will ensure the reintroduction of OKO Youth Football competition across Nigeria and beyond in order to ensure that youths are given a sense of belonging while serving as recruitment ground for MFM FC.

Enakhena said “This is in response to the yearnings of MFM youths who have subtly protested the neglect of other sports in the church since the rise of MFM FC to the Nigeria Professional Football League.”

Under the new arrangements as announced by the club on Thursday, General Overseer of MFM worldwide, Dr Daniel Olukoya, takes over as new chairman of the club while Emmanuel Aiyeyun assumes office as MFM FC Director.
