HipTV releases statement on why Olamide's concert, OLIC, wasn't aired live

Yesterday, YBNL leader, Olamide, held the third edition of his annual musical concert, OLIC. The previous editions of the concert airs live on HipTV, a Nigerian entertainment and lifestyle television. 

This year, the television station failed to air the concert and disappointed many who wanted to watch the concert on TV because they couldn't afford tickets to the event, have a busy schedule or for other reasons. 

Many said that HipTV didn't air the concert because of the drama that happened between Olamide and Don jazzy at last year's edition of the Headies Awards, an award ceremony organised by Smooth Promotions, owners of HipTV. 

Today, HipTV has announced that they didn't air OLIC because the organisers of the concert didn't want it to be aired and not because of the drama at the Headies Awards 2015. See below
