Nigerian Professional Football League Opening Day Fixture

 

Enugu Rangers will begin the defence of their Nigeria Professional Football League title with a tricky home fixture against Oriental rivals, Abia Warriors. The Flying Antelopes who broke their 32-year title drought last season will look to begin their campaign on a winning note when they host the Okey Emordi-led side at ‘the Cathedral’ Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Enugu.

In the standout fixture of match-day one, seven-time champions Enyimba will host Sunshine Stars at home. Four-time champions, Kano Pillars, and FC IfeanyiUbah will clash at the Sani Abacha Stadium in another key fixture.
