Actor Karan's Son Will Reprise His Role In Deadpool 2 As Dopinder The Taxi Driver

Thanks to a batch of interviews with Deadpool 2 screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, we’ve been learning quite a bit about 20th Century Fox’s highly anticipated sequel over the last few days.

Both Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead would return, and now the duo have revealed that another fan-favourite character will also be back: Dopinder, the hapless taxi driver that chauffeurs the Merc with a Mouth around in the first film.

During a Facebook Live Q&A with Nerdist, Wernick confirmed that we will indeed be seeing actor Karan Son reprise the role for Wade Wilson’s next big screen adventure: I would say that the relationship between Dopinder and Deadpool was the most fun for me. I love that relationship and I love that character. And he’ll be in the sequel.
