Theft case: Court remands Nollywood filmmaker Seun Egbegbe in prison

Seun Egbegbe has been remanded in prison on Wednesday with his accomplice by Justice Oluremi Oguntoyinbo of the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos till next Tuesday when their bail applications would be entertained.
Seun Egbegbe is currently in two cases of theft. The first is the iPhone theft case that he was arrested for last year in Ikeja. The second is the N6m scam case he was arrested near Gbagada general hospital for.

Seun Egbegbe and his accomplice were slammed with 36 counts charge on conspiracy and fraud. The duo however pleaded not guilty to all the  counts charge. 

Upon their plea, the prosecutor, Mr. Innocent Anyigor,urged the court to remand them in prison custody pending trial. 

Justice Oguntoyinbo, thereafter, ordered that the two accused persons should be remanded in prison custody and adjourned the hearing of their bail applications to February 21st which is next week Tuesday.
