The
Amajitas of South Africa put up an impressive display against Junior
Indomitable Lions of Cameroon as they won 3-1 win in the second game in Group B
at the 2017 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations on Monday.
A hat-trick
from Luther Singh sealed the win
for the South African as Eric Ayuk Mbu
gave Cameroon the lead in the 14th minute but just two minutes
later Singh equalised for South Africa. In the 26th minute, Singh grabbed
his second goal from the penalty spot following a foul on Sibongakonke Mbatha inside the box. In the 57th minute Singh
completed his hat-trick to put South Africa 3-1 up.
In the
group's other game also played on Monday, Senegal scored a late goal to
force a 1-1 draw against Sudan.
