'Ant-Man 2' movie is back on - Michael Peña reveals

Michael Peña has walked back on his comments regarding Ant-Man 2 to confirm that Luis will return after all. Whether the actor’s original statement was simply a faux pas or a breakdown in communication is anyone’s guess, but while chatting to LRM about his upcoming role in the R-rated CHIPs reboot, Michael Peña put any and all rumors to bed.

Next on Peña’s plate is the alien invasion movie Extinction, which is coming by way of Universal and director Ben Young, but a return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is also in the cards, as the actor revealed during a recent interview with LRM:

He said “So, I’m doing Extinction next, that’s a Universal movie. And then I’m doing Ant-Man, Part 2.”

Ant-Man and the Wasp is currently booked in for July 6th, 2018.
