Update On The Flash Season 4

After the way the third season of The Flash ended, with Barry Allen willingly entering the Speed Force in the closing moments of “Finish Line” to atone for the guilt that has accompanied him since creating Flashpoint.

A fraction of the fanbase has theorized that Wally West, currently Kid Flash, will step up by becoming Central City’s top superhero. Keiynan Lonsdale’s who plays the Kid Flash said he has no plans to replace his character’s mentor:

He said “It’s not something that’s on my radar. I feel as though there is so much story to tell and Wally has so much growing to do. I’d like to see that journey continue. That’s what I think is important. We need to see how these characters realistically get to where they are headed for.”

The Flash returns for its fourth season on Tuesday, October 10 on The CW.
