CHAN Eagles Arrive Kano

Members of the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) team also known as the Home Base Eagles arrived in Kano on Monday to begin their two-week camping programme, before their first-leg away match against Benin Republic in CHAN Kenya 2018 qualifiers.

As at the time of filling this report, 15 of the 25 players invited by Coach Salisu Yusuf we’re present at the team’s Tahir Guest Palace camping venue. Yusuf would be assisted by executive member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Sharu Rabiu Ahlan, who would oversee the team’s activities.

The chairman, Kano State Sports Commission, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima, said the state government decided to fund the team’s stay in the state, as part of its sports development drive.
